Hulls

In July of 2005, after moving to Ohio, I purchase almost complete hulls from Matthew in Penetanguishene, Ontario.  The floats are basically complete and primed, and the hulls are joined and have the main bulkheads installed.  About half of the glass on the starboard side is complete, but there's enough in the areas of bulkheads and below the waterline to move them on the trailer.  From the cabin aft is completely open, which makes it a challenge to try to climb inside.

Matthew used Dow Derakane Vinylester resin, and did an incredible job getting everything set up correctly.  The hulls are almost completely fair and will require very little bog.

As soon as my new garage is complete, in October, I move the hulls from storage into the garage and off the trailer, and finish fiberglassing the starboard side with some fresh Derakane.
